Book: Platonic: How the Science of Attachment Can Help You Make-and-Keep Friends by Dr. Marisa Franco                                        Facilitator: Marielle Ferreboeuf, LCSW

Please join me for a 6 week therapeutic book club to learn and grow together in a supportive environment. Over the course of the 6 weeks we will be reading Dr. Franco’s book as a group. Each week, after reading a portion of the book, we will discuss our thoughts/feelings based on
reflection questions derived from the assigned reading. In order to prepare for the upcoming group discussion, participants will receive an email before each group with a list of reflection questions. To ask questions or sign up for the group, please email Marielle Ferreboeuf at
contact@marielletherapy.com.

Have you wondered how people develop meaningful friendships in adulthood? Are you curious about the ways in which friendships sustain us and improve our health and well-being? Do you want to explore the ways in which you relate with others? In her book Platonic: How the
Science of Attachment Can Help You Make-and-Keep Friends, Dr. Marisa Franco invites us to consider the vital role friendship plays in our lives. We will learn, through personal stories of others who are striving for connection as well as Dr. Franco’s wisdom, based on years of research, that we all have the capacity to cultivate strong and enduring friendships as adults. What are we waiting for? There is a deep need to belong which lies within us all. Let’s find a way to meet this need for connection together!

$210 Total for all 6 weeks. Wednesdays 6:30-8PM from February 1st through March 8th.
