Bringing Baby Home is an educational workshop designed to support resilience in the transition to early parenthood (0-3 years). Decades of research from the Gottman Institute suggests healthy parental relationships support optimal child development. Learn how to navigate inevitable conflict and bring intentional, loving habits into your relationship now to set the course for a more fulfilling family life.
Join other couples on a similar journey as you take away skills to:
Strengthen friendship and maintain intimacy and affection with your partner
Navigate stress and conflict with your partner in constructive ways
Increase understanding of your child’s development and foster healthy attachment
Recognize and respond to symptoms of postpartum mood disorders for either parent
Who This Workshop is For:
You’re eagerly awaiting your baby’ birth but you’re feeling unsure about the “fourth trimester” and the impact of this transition for you and your partner
Baby has arrived and you are finding it hard to manage irritability with your partner on little sleep and so much change. You’re wondering. . . is this normal?
It’s not your first time with an infant- in fact, maybe your toddler/ preschooler is most puzzling! You’d like to prioritize strengthening your relationship as your family grows and changes once more.
This workshop is limited to 4-5 couples, so register soon! We will meet in-person in the beautiful HAVN Collective office for three consecutive Sunday afternoons. Pre-crawling infants are welcome to attend with you. Private room and breaks to pump available as needed, please notify the facilitator.
This workshop is educational and not a therapy group. If you have any questions about the group or are wondering if couple/family therapy would better meet your needs please reach out the facilitator: email@example.com
